Ask them to sit down.

Pinch the nose just above the nostril.

Keep pinching for 10 to 15 minutes.

Ask them to breathe through their mouth.

After 10 minutes, release the pressure on the nose.

If the bleeding restarts, repeat the 10-minute pressure up to 2 times.
